Karen Starrett’s paintings contain a silent conversation that evolves during its creation. As she develops forms and experiments with color, the painting speaks to her and tells her what to do next. The synthesis of color, form, and inner vision—that is the soul of her work.
Starrett’s paintings have been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions throughout the NY/NJ area and is in private collections. She is a graduate of Rutgers University and an alumnus of the School of Visual Arts.
